Death of Bronx man found in apartment ruled a homicide

The death of a Bronx man found unconscious inside his apartment earlier this week was ruled a homicide, cops said Friday. 

Police responded to a 911 call around 2:20 p.m. Tuesday and found 53-year-old Marque McClain unconscious inside his apartment on Jesup Avenue near Sherif S. Byrd Place in Mount Eden, authorities said.

EMS pronounced McClain dead at the scene. 

Police said Friday morning that McClain’s death was ruled a homicide.
